Meenakshi's last job was with an events management firm. Presently, she is a freelancer.
She is a liberal person. She is a happy-go-lucky person and lives life to the fullest. She loves to watch movies and listen to music. She takes an avid interest in Durga Puja (which is held in the ancestral home of her mother) and religious events.

The immediate family of Meenakshi consists of her parents, elder brother and sister - in – law. Her father is a retired engineer from Bokaro Steel Plant and her mother is a home maker. They stay in Kolkata. Her elder brother is a Management Consultant and Sister-in-Law is a linguist. Pujas and rituals form an integral part of our family. We have spent our lives in various parts of India. We have a broad outlook towards life. We are a close-knit family with strong links among the relatives.
