A relationship starts as friendship and builds on from there. I think I need a friend for life who would be there to share the good and the bad life long. A simple life with happiness, love affection and caring is what I am looking at in a spouse. My beliefs and values are centered on these simple things which are so difficult to find.

My spouse is one who be the focus on my life, as without a focus a family life is not defined. I think it leads only to distress as I think we have probably seen in our past. Once bitten twice shy would not like to get into something when both do not have the same focus.
