My son can be best described as generous, kind, with a sense of humour and a heart to serve. He believes real faith needs to be put into action, so his belief system is evident in his lifestyle and choices. A non-traditionalist, he does not care for outward show or impressing others. For him, genuine loving relationships within the family are important. Being a favourite uncle to his nieces brings him great joy and he makes sure he is at every one of their birthdays no matter which part of the country he is in. He enjoys cross-country trips in his car, and makes it a point to do an annual one with friends to the less explored parts of the country. During weekends, he teaches high school math as part of a teaching initiative in Pune.

My husband started and ran his own Engineering company in Coimbatore. I continue to reside in Coimbatore, attending and working with the local church to transcribe the weekly sermons. I have also authored a devotional called Stone by Stone.

My son has been working in Pune since 2014. He enjoys his work and life there, and has experienced rapid professional growth and earned the respect of senior leaders at his firm. My older son lives in Chennai with his wife and daughter. My daughter-in-law is a writer and editor who has published a children’s book – The Secret of Fair Haven.

As a family, we implicitly trust each other and are there for one another, but also acknowledge each other’s privacy and independence. This has helped us maintain a strong relationship despite living in three separate cities and the sudden loss of my husband.

We seek a lady who will be a true companion for my son. Someone who is thoughtful, independent, honest, and with a great sense of humour and adventure. We want the two of them to support each other to grow into the person God has created them to be. As a family, we would give them the love and space to build a life together that will be a blessing to people and a joy to the family they start together.
