I am an independent and liberal person. I tend to become a bit philosophical every now and then. Thanks to my years in academia. I am finishing up my PhD, and I am not sure why am I even filling this form --- I don't understand how a marriage could be arranged, but anyway. My long term goal is stay healthy, happy and make a living out of some meaningful work, probably in education, healthcare and public admin space. I do not aim to become bloody rich materialistically but I do want to have a rich life in terms of learning, experiences, risks and internal rewards. I like to read, travel, understand people and implement ideas. I keep looking for a (good) change in almost everything- within as well as without. I am not a religious person. I respect all religions equally. Extremists should stay away. I am a respectful person in general but I can be difficult with people who disrespect my independence and boundaries. I come from a humble background. My family is a traditional Hindu family and I share none of their biases. My brothers are chill though. We are a happy family!
About Life Partner Preferences:
I believe a kind, open-minded and good-hearted person having a curious mind with a good quality of thinking, someone who does not follow a societal scale to measure love, happiness, success blah blah, would be an ideal partner for me. He should be a thinker, and I should simply fall for his intellect day in, day out. Oh, more importantly he should like the kind of person I am (please check out how I have described myself) otherwise it is all a waste.
Qualification-wise, anyone who is qualified enough to understand and value the dignity of life will be good. Career-wise, anyone is not resorting to corruption and/or any wrong means to earn a living.
The family should value critical thinking more than traditions.
