I am a German girl who has been studying Indian culture and traditions for many years now and is currently in the process of finishing her M.A. in Sanskrit and religious studies, with a minor in anthropology. Culture and religion are thus very important to me and I spend a lot of my free time immersed in cultural and religious activities as well.

In my free time I like to keep fit by running, swimming and hiking, as well as doing yoga. I also enjoy reading, primarily non-fiction and religious texts. I love cooking and am always up for trying new recipes!

While I value culture and tradition, I also believe strongly in freedom and equality. A leading value in my life is ahimsa, which is why I am following a vegan diet and avoid the use of animal products in my life. I also care deeply about the environment, women's rights and LGBTQ+ rights. I hope to find a partner who is the same mixture of progressive and traditional and who shares my belief in non-violence.

I come from a small nuclear family consisting of my parents, me and a younger sister. I would like to have a family of my own and am open to moving to other countries, as well as potentially to living with in-laws, depending on the individual situation.

About Life Partner Preferences:

As stated above, I am primarily looking for someone who shares my values, so that we can build a strong family without any conflicts. I am looking for someone who is educated, open-minded and ready to make a commitment and settle down.

Given that I am German (and not English, German wasn't an option in the pull-down), caste is of no concern. As I am fairly religious however, I would prefer a partner who is at least open to participating in religious activities occasionally.

I do not have any strong preferences regarding nuclear vs. joint family or place of residence, as I regularly travel to India anyway and consider myself a global citizen.
