I come from a family shaped by two rich and very different cultures. My father was from Bihar, India, and my mother is from Scotland in the United Kingdom. My elder brother and I were both born in New Delhi, India, where our early lives began surrounded by Indian traditions, family ties, and a deep sense of heritage. Sadly, I lost my father when I was just three years old. His passing changed everything. In the years that followed, my mother faced harsh and difficult treatment from my father’s family, which made life increasingly challenging for her and for us as young children.

With great strength and courage, my mother made the life-changing decision to relocate to Scotland with me and my elder brother. Starting over in a new country was not easy, but it gave us safety, stability, and the chance to grow in a healthier environment. We were educated in Scotland and spent our childhood and teenage years here, shaped by British values while still carrying our Indian roots within us. Growing up between cultures has given me a broad outlook on life, respect for diversity, and a strong appreciation for family.

Despite being raised in Scotland, my connection to India has always remained close to my heart. I deeply admire Indian culture, traditions, and family values. I wish to marry someone from India because I want to honor my roots and ensure that my future children grow up understanding, respecting, and celebrating the culture that is an important part of who I am.
