I am peacekeeper working with the UN. I was deployed in Sudan/South Sudan for the last 6 years. Prior to that I was worked in Japan for a few years. I am a voracious reader and a foodie. I love to eat so enjoy cooking. In fact, I do dream of opening a restaurant at some point of my life. I would like to spend a few months in Italy and France to learn their cooking technique. There are traditional families who are into traditional cooking and they welcome guest to stay with them and learn. Through this site I would also like to meet people from all over the world and share recipes.

I enjoy traveling and I am fortunate that my job allowed me to see some of the most amazing part of the world. I like music too ? mostly blues and jazz. Another dream is to visit the birth place of the blues.

Being with kind people gives me immense happiness and I would like to continue in my social impact work for some time.
