I am against dowry, and I do not want to put any burden on my parents in the form of money, gold, materials, etc I also do not expect anything from the groom’s side (except his character)
We are 5 members — father, mother, two younger brothers (one brother has multiple disabilities), and me (first child).We are from a lower middle-class background. However, I have grown up in such a way that I have received everything I asked for.
My parents never treated me like a girl child who is going to live in another person's home.
