About Me:
I am Vijay Patel from Vadodara. I studied B.E.: Civil & Irrigation Water Management from MSU of Baroda, Vadodara, India. (Grade: First class with distinction, 1995). Then I studied MBA-Financial management from ASU of America, Vadodara, India (Final grade India: B+, Part-time, 2001).

In addition, I went to Germany and studied M.S.-Environmental and resource management from Brandenburg University of Technology, Cottbus, Brandenburg, Germany (ECTS Credits: 29/120, 2005). Finally, I finished M.S.-Environmental technologies from the same government, high ranked, exclusive technical university of Cottbus, Germany. (ECTS Grade:2.7/4.0, 2007). The Masters thesis topic is: Greenhouse Gas emissions allowance trading system in Europe and USA. - A comparison of the European Union Emissions Trading Scheme (EU ETS) and Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiatives (RGGI) of the USA. The M.S. study is a part of the environmental law & energy economics, and it is all about Climate change and Global warming. During this time, I visited USA in 2005 for study at University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee as well.

Then, I started a Doctorate course at the chair of environmental law, before coming back to India, but I did not complete it because I had not returned to Germany to continue the study. Later on, after living some years in Germany, a couple of months in the USA and other European countries (held 10 Yrs. B1/B2 of the USA and C-visit of UK visa), I came back to India.

Regarding my work, I worked as a site engineer for two years after graduating from civil engineering. Then, I worked as a Gujarat government Road and Building department registered under (C) class & industrial civil contractor for about seven years. The government contracts were carried out by tendering from state, district and government undertaking industries.

Later on, after coming back from Germany, I did Job as a technical auditor with SGS India. My work was to validate, verify and certify carbon credits projects of Clean Development Mechanism administered by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.

Presently, I am CEO of my company named as VPA India, Vadodara having a tagline as Decarbonisation point expert. I am an auditor, consultant, advisor, trader and developer for following services- Carbon credits & carbon footprint, Decarbonisation, Net zero emission, Environmental Social & Governance (ESG), Corporate sustainability reporting, Green/Blue/Biodiversity bonds, Biodiversity credits & footprint, Nature credits and impact assessment, Natural capital accounting, Ecosystem services valuation, Environmental-economic accounting, ISO 14064 and GHG emissions reduction projects. I am also in to carbon emissions offsets/allowances trading and project development.

I like to characterize me as an intelligent, confident, professional, responsible and ambitious person. Trying out new things is sort of my interest, and I get a thrill out of adventure and experiment.

I am interested in meeting an independent and self-made individual, who has a positive attitude towards life and career. I am looking for someone who is educated to postgraduate, doctorate or post-doctoral research level in engineering or technology. A professional, who is working or has worked in a corporate or MNC and who want to continue to work after marriage as well.

I support an equal relationship in all aspects from sharing the homework to all the home expenses and I do expect the same from my soul mate. Likewise, I am seeking someone who can financially sustain her life on her own and she should balance her personal and professional life. I am not looking for someone, who want to dependable on me and who believe in traditional older cultural practices. I am interested in someone who is very well acquainted with the Western & European culture, lifestyle and social system and want to accept it. I do not want to perform any of the traditional marriage ceremonies, including ring and reception ceremonies.

I do not want to have a kid at any point of time during life.
