Written by Parent: A daughter is truly one of the best gifts that we are blessed with. It is a delight sharing a few words about my daughter-

She is a charmingly beautiful woman, passionate professional, a warm person and a doting daughter. On the education front, she has completed her MBBS from Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Pondicherry . Furthermore, she has also completed her MD in Micro-Biology from PGI / Chandigarh and 3 years' of Senior Residency. Currently, she is an Associate Professor (Microbiology) in JIPMER/Pondicherry ( a permanent post). She is also the founder and managing editor of a medical journal. As a person, she believes in simplicity and most importantly, she believes in human values and adheres to them. She has a strong inclination towards hospitality and is very considerate about the needs of others. One of the best part about her is that she is a person who believes in speaking the truth and speaking her mind. She has always had a keen interest in academics and loves reading. She has also published several research papers during her tenure in PGI & JIPMER which have earned many accolades. Interestingly, she has a deep rooted interest in Bengali culture and is fond of its customs and traditions including singing and taking part in cultural events held in the Institute..

About Family- Ours is a well-educated family settled in Delhi. I, an Electrical Engineer from IIT/KGP, retired from a higher Executive post in Indian Rlys. and now work as a senior consultant. My wife is a post graduate from Delhi university, has worked as a teacher and currently she is a home-maker . We have also been blessed with two elder daughters and an elder son. My son is an Additional Director in Fortis Hospital. Eldest daughter retired from Jet Airways and second one also a doctor is working in Delhi. Both of my daughters are happily married and well-settled in Delhi.

Partner Expectations- We are looking out for a well-educated, well-established and ambitious person who would accompany our daughter in the journey of life. Preferably, we are seeking alliances from the medical profession preferably, but equally qualified grooms of other professions and belonging to the Bengali Hindu community are welcome. Matches in or around Pondicherry are preferable. Kundli-matching may also be required. Caste no bar.
