1. I am Dr. Uma Dhar, a with a fun-loving s traditional personality. Education, and scientific/philosophical talks interest me.
2. BA, BEd, Double Masters in Philosophy and Comparititive Lit. And PhD (Philosophy) NET JRF SRF, Awarded two post-doctoral fellowships from Indian Council of Philosophical Reasearch.
3. My father was CM Dhar, former Member of Parliament (India) and a chemical industrialist. My mom was Leena Dhar, daughter of Prof. A. Nandy, former HoD Metallurgy at Banaras Hindu University and a Mining Engineer from Glasgow University. My family travels back to Kashmiri Pandit royal family, of Maharaja Virendra Mohan Dar. I have an elite royal ancestry of ICS, CIE, MBE, OBE, KCSI people.
4. I have two sisters, one of them is married and the other is divorced.
5. My main cause of marrying is- seeking companionship and someone who can help my son financially, make his education and studies secure. After my divorce with my late husband on May 15 (He passed away on May 17) our financial status has deteriorated rapidly, leading to a hand-to-mouth problem, with no income and absolutely NIL balance in my bank.
