I am a Sikh Jat, who was born and raised in Toronto, ON, Canada. I have a Masters degree and am currently pursing my CFA designation while working in the investment industry.

My family values are established on a contemporary blend of modern liberal views while practicing traditional values based on our Punjabi heritage. I was raised to have empathy for others, and respect their personal space and views, allowing them to grow as people.

I believe life’s enjoyment is optimized when experienced in balance. A hardworking, disciplined and determined personality allows us to achieve our full potential. However, while in the pursuit of personal happiness, I always remember to allocate time and cherish moments with people who support me and bring joy into my life. I’m a positive and outgoing personality who believes being easygoing allow us to enjoy our current relationships and develop new ones.

I am passionate about continuous self-improvement, whether it is physical, mental or emotional. I relax in a variety of ways. I enjoy music, whether it’s listening to instrumental pieces or practicing my acoustic guitar, reading literature that ranges from fantasy to personal development and general knowledge. As an adventurous person, I love to experience new things such as; socializing with new people, trying food from different cultures, or even cooking it, attending different types of events. When traveling, I prefer to visit lesser known parts of the destination, go off the beaten track and see what gems I can discover.
