After completing BBA (Hons) from Scottish Church College, Foreign Trade Practice & Management from St.Xavier's and Master's Degree in Disaster Management from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, Saswata went for a job with a Austrian - TISS Project in Port Blair, Andaman & Nicobar Islands for more than a year. After he got a scholarship, he left his job and is currently pursuing his Ph.D in Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, Thailand.
Saswata is very affable, liked by all his friends and colleague.
