I am divorced. I have an 18-year-old son who lives with his mother and visits me on weekends and holidays. My aged parents stay with me. My younger sister lives in Mexico.

I am very quiet by nature but like to be surrounded by people I care about. My interests are reading (historical fiction, science fiction, and fantasy); watching serious, realistic movies and documentaries; following defense-related issues and geopolitics; listening to music; and working out. I like to spend time at home with my family.

I am spiritual but not ritualistic. If I had to list my qualities, I would say that I am hard-working, honest, generous to my family and friends, careful, and extremely conscious about my work and family responsibilities.

What I want now are mental peace, good health, and a companion to spend the rest of my life with.
