I am a Public Sector Bank officer now.I had schooling in an English medium school. Graduated in Engineering in ECE stream from a WBUT affiliated engineering college. Later on I was admitted to M.Tech course of Calcutta University, which I had finished but couldn't submit the project work in the last semester owing to an urgent notice to join the job.
I am the only child of my parents. We are a middle class family, my father retired as an Assistant Commissioner of Customs and Central Excise. My mother is a graduate but a housewife. My grandfather was in the Indian Air Force. So we are a family quite widely traveled in India, having stayed at different locations/ stations.
Ethnically we hail from erstwhile East Bengal (now Bangladesh), but my grandparents migrated to this part of India (West Bengal) before partition.
Lastly, regarding my outlook, I am traditional in morals and upbringing but very much modern in thought and attitude. I have a logical mind and judge things factually.

About Life Partner Preferences:

I would like my partner to be truthful and honest in thought and deed. He should preferably be an engineering/technology graduate/ post graduate. A master's degree with an MBA would definitely be better. And, the person needs to be sufficiently in high position in Govt sector, or in the private sector but in a reputed corporate organisation.
I would prefer a person from a small educated family of middle/ upper middle income group and either from Bengali kayastha or from the Brahmin caste category. Person from Baidya caste category also would be O.K.
