Param is a visually handicapped (blind) by birth young man, he was born blind because of a genetic problem which is carried from mother to daughter. Paramjot can have a normal family life and is not the carrier of the disease hence would have normal children. Param maintains a fairly good health. He has studied upto class 7th in a blind school there after in a normal school (Kurveys High school) where he passed his matric in first division. He completed his B.A. from Nagpur Mahavidyalaya and M.A. (music, vocal) also from the same institute.He is very humorous very social and popular among friends and relatives. He loves outings, socialising, nonveg food and has an excellent memory.
Paramjot is the only child of the parents Kanwarjit Singh Uppal (known by nick name Prince) and Mrs.Amarjeet kaur Uppal. The family is in medical goods business for last 50 yrs approx and enjoy a fairly good name in the Medical Trade in state of Maharashtra and a fairly good business. The grand parents of Paramjot belonged from (Dhamyal) Rawalpindi in Pakistan. The family is settled in Nagpur for past 60yrs, have flat and other properties at Nagpur. Paramjot’s father are two brothers and two sisters. It is a small but close knit family. The family is non alcoholic, Social & religious.
