Depending on the day, you’ll find me either focused on environmental sustainability or trying to figure out the exact science of a perfect chai recipe. I love having a purposeful career, but I definitely prefer to keep things light and informal once the workday ends.

Off the clock, my lifestyle is a bit of a contrast. You're just as likely to find me out off-roading on a rugged trail as you are to find me in the kitchen experimenting with a new chai recipe from scratch. I stay active through any form of sports having retired from martial arts years ago. I also have a massive soft spot for wildlife and animals, whether that means regular feeding sessions or dreaming up a future home that can comfortably handle a pack of about five dogs.

My perspective on life was shaped by a few great years living and doing research in New Zealand, and my daily sense of humor is pretty heavily anchored in an endless loop of quotes from The Office.
